CASALUSA HISTORY

Casalusa was founded in 1994 - as a family capital Real Estate investment company.
Throughout the history its strategic development was always based on a strong use of equity, which allowed a positive impact on its effectiveness, making it possible to  overcome various challenges that cyclically affect this sector.

In 1994 Casalusa began its operations with a single building of 7 apartments in Oeiras and later on with some new investments in Vilamoura, Algarve, taking the advantage of Lusotur's expansion plan.  In this region, a private residential complex of 33 apartments and a swimming pool were then built between 1998 and 2001.

Although Casalusa's Strategic Plan was strongly oriented to the Algarve, in 2000 Casalusa took the opportunity to build a private condo in Birre / Cascais, which was completed by 2002. 

But in 2001, Casalusa acquired land to develop a Project containing several plots of significant size in Praia da Luz/Lagos and until 2004 Vila das Acácias Project was concluded. In total, 37 Villas with swimming pools as well as four blocks with 36 apartments were built, creating a specific offer for Clients looking for an exclusive selection of Villas and Appartments.

At that time and until 2006, a new land was acquired by Casalusa, which is today part Blue Bay Hills Project - Praia da Luz. This residential and tourist complex originally comprises 28 Apartments, 14 Townhouses and 36 Plots for Villas and was approved by Câmara Municipal de Lagos in December 2021. So we may say that in March 2022 plots began to be sold for future Villas and Townhouses.
